Denim and Diamonds Gala

On Saturday, September 28th, we will be holding our first annual Gala. The Gala will be held at the Harvest Barn in Sugarcreek and will start at 6:00 PM. The purpose for this Gala is to first celebrate what God has been doing here at Light in the Valley through the people and programs it has. But we also want to raise funds on behalf of LIV that will go towards: Missions, Youth, General Operations, and Other Ministries Associated with Light in the Valley.  The evening will consist of a live auction, general raffle, and bonus raffle.
NOTE: YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT TO WIN THE GENERAL RAFFLE ITEMS.

The Live Auction will take place after dinner. You must be present to purchase a live auction item!

Do you have a big work project that needs to be done but wish you had 20 pairs of hands to help you? You are in luck! For up to 4 hours, the youth will do whatever you tell them to do. They are all yours!

We will have two special items that are going to be auctioned off using a deck of cards to add a little bit of fun to night! How it will work is that we will use a suit of cards, let's say spades. That gives us 13 cards. They will be flipped around and hanging up on a board. Each card will be numbered 1-13. The winning card will be the ace of spades, so that is the card you want to try to find. You will then bid to be able to flip over a card. The top bidder gets to choose a card to flip over. If it's the ace of spades, you win, it's a done deal. If it's not, we will do another round of bidding for someone else to flip over the next card. You keep going until the ace of spades is revealed! We will be selling 5 bouquets of roses with an envelope attached to each one. One of them will have the winning card inside. But fellas, it's a win win. Even if you don't win the basket, you have some beautiful roses that you can give to that special someone!

We will be having a Bonus Raffle Drawing the close out the night. You need to be present at the event in order to be able to be in the Bonus Raffle. Tickets will go on sale the night of the Gala. We will be selling the Bonus Raffle Tickets from 6:00-7:30 PM.
